The Wyandotte Town Centre Business Improvement Association hosted its annual holiday turkey giveaway on Tuesday.
“The board of directors is honoured and pleased to continue the tradition of a turkey giveaway to our community during the holiday season of sharing and togetherness,” said BIA chair Larry Horwitz.

Volunteers handed out about 150 turkeys outside Al Sabeel Restaurant on Wyandotte Street East. To avoid forcing people to line up in the cold weather, the BIA created an online reservation system ahead of the event.
Horwitz called the giveaway “our heartfelt thanks to everyone who makes Wyandotte Town Centre vibrant and special.”
