Kaizer Chiefs: Say goodbye to these NINE players?

The new coach and Amakhosi’s technical staff have their work cut out for them with several Kaizer Chiefs players linked with likely exits out of Naturena.

Amakhosi management has reportedly already decided on certain players that will be loaned out.

Meanwhile, a wide array of talent could be heading out due to the players falling down the pecking order and seemingly not fitting into the clubs future plans.

Khune is still a part of Kaizer Chiefs. However, he is entering the last year of his contract and to make matters worse for the Amakhosi legend, he has been suspended from all club activities. This could effect his chances of earning a contract extension. He has also been earmarked for a technical role – as goalkeeper coach . It is unclear how his suspension will effect this possible move.

Moreover, another club legend, Hlanti, is on his way out with the club already planning for his exit. In fact, they have identified Stellenbosch FC star Fawaaz Basadien as his replacement and this move is likely to happen with both clubs reportedly on board.

Mashiane has hardly featured under any of the recent coaches. Arthur Zwane, Molefi Ntseki and Cavin Johnson seem to symbolically represent the notion of the technical staff and management alike and that is, Mashiane is far down the pecking order.

Therefore, it is in his best interest to leave the club if he is to play more regularly in the future.

Furthermore, Sithebe and Radebe are in the same boat. Sibongiseni, Yusuf Maart and Edson Castillo are well established in the midfield. Whilst, the likes of Nkosingiphile Ngcobo. Mduduzi Mdantsane and Samkelo Zwane are all ahead in the current pecking order.

Both players have been linked with loan moves, as previously reported on The South African. Furthermore, they are considering loaning out young starlet Wandile Duba to give him experience but the club does have plans for him in the future.

NEW SIGNINGS ALREADY HEADING OUT?

Potsane and Gonzales were only recently signed – in the recent transfer window less than six months ago.

However, both men have failed to impress management. Meaning, they both could be heading out in January if the new coach does not see them as a part of his future plans. Finally, Saile is at risk of leaving with the club in the market for a new striker and Ashley Du Preez set to return soon. This is largely dependent on the new coach as well.
