HIGH-FLYING Miscelleneous Police FC host a talented but under-performing Point Fortin Civic, as Tier One of the Trinidad and Tobago Premier Football League resumes on Wednesday after the Christmas break.
Star-studded Police are coming off a 7-0 victory over third-placed Prisons FC, with former national players Willis Plaza, Joevin Jones, Mekeil Williams, Keron “Ball Pest” Cummings, Anthony Wolfe and current national right-back Alvin Jones among the scorers.
The midweek matches are a precursor to Saturday’s massive clash between last season’s champions Defence Force and current leaders AC Port of Spain, the 2023 runners-up, carded for the Hasely Crawford Stadium.
