Honor made a comeback to India last September with the Honor 90’s launch after a three-year hiatus, and it will introduce a new smartphone in India as Honor India’s (aka HTech) CEO Madhav Sheth took to X to tease the upcoming smartphone.
Sheth didn’t mention the smartphone’s name, but the design suggests it’s the X9b unveiled last October. Honor says the phone will “redefine what you can expect from a durable and reliable smartphone.”

The Honor X9b is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, boots Android 13-based MagicUI 7.2, and comes with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It sports a 6.78″ 120Hz FullHD+ AMOLED screen and packs a 5,800 mAh battery with 35W charging.
The X9b features a 108MP primary camera on the rear, joined by 5MP ultrawide and 2MP macro units. It also has a 16MP unit for selfies and video calls.
The rest of the Honor X9b’s highlights include an in-display fingerprint scanner, USB-C, and an NFC chip. Honor should reveal the X9b’s India launch date soon.
