H Vinoth became an inevitable director in Tamil cinema as he started a new era with ‘Sathuranga Vettai’ and ‘Theeran Adhigaram Ondru’. His last film was ‘Thunivu’ starring Ajith Kumar and Manju Warrier, which grossed more than Rs 200 crore worldwide. Now, we have news on his next flick.
Following the success of ‘Thunivu’, director H Vinoth joined hands with Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan for ‘KH 233’, an extensive action movie. But this project got delayed due to ‘Thug Life’, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ and ‘Indian 2’. Then, it was reported that H Vinoth will work on the sequel of ‘Theeran’ with Karthi but he is also busy with his ongoing projects.
The latest buzz is that ‘KH 233’ and ‘Theeran 2’ are on hold currently. In the meantime, H Vinoth is planning to direct a political comedy film with Yogi Babu in the lead role. The script work for this satire flick is being prepared now. Yogi Babu is ready to adjust his dates for this movie. Let’s wait for an official word. Vijay Sethupathi is said to play a prominent role in this film but we have to take it with a pinch of salt.
