Huawei is defying the rules in the mainstream laptop market with the Matebook D 16 laptop, now refreshed with 13th Gen Intel Core H series processors, it gives similar priced competitors a good run for their money as most of them usually come with Intel’s U series processors.
Boasting a 16-inch Huawei FullView display, the Matebook D 16 offers a comfortable viewing experience with a slim bezel and 16:10 aspect ratio, it has a solid aluminium build that weighs 1.72kg, which is commendable considering it houses a large 70Wh battery.
Performance wise, the Matebook D 15 starts with a Core i5-12450H processor and goes all the way up to a Core i9-13900H processor, it comes with 16GB of soldered RAM across the board, while you get up to 1TB of NVMe storage on the decked-out model.
Ports selection is on par with the competition as it comes with one USB-C port that supports data, charging and DisplayPort, two USB-A ports, one HDMI and 3.5mm headphone combo jack.
The 2024 Matebook D 16 can be purchased at Huawei’s Online Store, Lazada, Shopee and dealers nationwide, customers will receive free gifts worth up to RM2144, including a Huawei Eyewear worth RM1099, Huawei Sound Joy worth RM699, Huawei Trendy Backpack worth RM499, 1-Year extended warranty worth RM299, Microsoft 365 Personal Subscription worth RM199 and Huawei Mouse worth RM149.
