
A man residing in the Southeast of Nigeria has expressed the view that Christianity has negatively impacted the future of Igboland. In a widely circulated video, he criticized church members conducting a service on a Thursday, January 25, during working hours.
According to him, before the arrival of the colonialists, the Igbo people were industrious, designating each day as a market day to engage in various economic activities. He found it disconcerting to witness individuals holding religious services instead of being actively involved in their daily work and entrepreneurial pursuits.
