Harry and Meghan have been sent a warning (Image: GETTY)
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been issued a warning against making a “juicy” Netflix documentary on their royal past.
According to new reports, Netflix’s chief content officer Bela Bajaria recently stated that the couple are working on “a couple of unscripted things” that are currently all in “early development”.
Harry and Meghan signed a five-year multi-million-pound deal with the popular streaming service in 2020.
Speaking to the Mirror, PR expert Lynn Carratt from Press Box PR has warned the couple against making another docuseries.
She said: “We know Netflix are after that ‘juicy’ content from Meghan and Harry in the form of a feature documentary about their royal past. But in order to rebuild their image the couple should stay away from this.
“So perhaps their unscripted could be a second series of their Harry and Meghan docuseries and a documentary about Africa that Harry is keen to make.
“But all eyes will be on the couple’s debut movie and, if that goes well, Netflix could well extend their deal, but they’ll have to stay away from public appearances with competing streaming companies.”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding made late Queen Elizabeth ‘uncomfortable’
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot in Windsor in May 2018, with a host of family, friends and celebrities in attendance.
The late Queen Elizabeth was reportedly “uncomfortable” with some parts during Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding in 2018.
Although Meghan and Harry couldn’t stop smiling throughout their nuptials, not everyone in attendance shared the same happiness.

Real reason King Charles gave unprecedented surgery details laid bare by palace insider
A palace insider believes it was “sensible” for King Charles to be open and honest about his medical procedure in hospital.
A palace insider believes it was “sensible” of King Charles to be open and honest about his medical procedure because of his status as a monarch and the wish of the public.Royal author, Robert Hardman, claims the King was “leading by example” as the surgery announcement last month came differently than any past royal announcements.Mr Hardman, speaking to People Magazine, said: “In both the Princess and the King’s cases, this shows a handling of very personal, very delicate matters that you wouldn’t have seen in the past. It would have been a much more guarded response. It shows they are adapting to the times.”

King Charles ‘should’ve been firmer’ with Prince Harry
King Charles “should’ve been firmer” with Prince Harry in his younger years, claims one royal expert.
The Duke of Sussex has been called out for not being able to take “responsibility” and for always being allowed to “play the fool”.
The 39-year-old has issued a number of attacks on the Royal Family – particularly over the past year.
In his highly-controversal memoir Spare, which was released in January 2023, Harry discussed the breakdown of his relationship with his elder brother and claimed that his father, the now-King Charles, previously made several jokes at his expense.
Royal expert Ingrid Seward now claims that he would have been given “a bit more early discipline”.
In an extract from her new book My Mother and I, which was shared by the Daily Mail, Ms Seward explained: “As the spare, Harry had always been allowed greater licence than his elder brother. He’d play the fool and get away with childish pranks.”
Although amusing his father and late mother in his early years, the expert added: “Later events suggest, however, that a bit more early discipline might have been helpful.”
Ms Seward suggested that, in order to avoid Harry creating “so much worry”, King Charles should have been “firmer” with him.
She added that, in the present, Harry has a “tendency to blame others when things don’t work out” and that he has an “unwillingness to take responsibility for his own actions”.

EXCLUSIVE: The Princess of Wales was criticised over her 13-day hospital stay this month, with one expert comparing this to Meghan Markle’s previous trolling when she was a member of the Royal Family.
The Princess of Wales’s brutal trolling highlights just how “damaging” Meghan Markle’s issues were, claims one royal expert.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle quietly downgraded on official Royal Family website
The official Royal Family website has undergone a number of tweaks – but Prince Harry’s page continues to have several glaring errors.
It comes after the Daily Express revealed in August that the web page was littered with errors, referring to Prince Harry as HRH and the late Queen Elizabeth II as monarch at least 74 times. Aides then quickly made several tweaks to the site.
But courtiers have neglected to make changes to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s profile pages, which state that the pair still have royal patronages, are splitting their time between the UK and North America, and live at Frogmore Cottage.
Veteran royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told the Express the errors “give the impression of being out of touch”, adding: “Their biographies really should either be updated, or alternatively exist in name only. There is no way that these reflect current events and this obviously reflects on the website as a whole.”
The page dedicated to “members of the Royal Family” has been updated, with the landing page for each senior royal having been updated with new pictures.
