Michael Chandler is ready to fight Conor McGregor.
The UFC fighter took the microphone during Monday’s WWE Raw and called out McGregor by saying they have “unfinished business.”

In December, McGregor took to social media to announce the “greatest comeback of all time” would happen with a matchup against Chandler in June at 185 pounds:

“Here we go, this is the fight I’ve been training for. Any weight—155, 170, 185 pounds—is good with me,” Chandler told Brett Okamoto of ESPN at the time.
However, there hasn’t been much momentum toward making that happen prior to Monday’s comments. UFC CEO Dana White even recently told reporters at a press conference he isn’t sure if McGregor will ever return to the Octagon in part because “money complicates things” and he has other commitments, such as an acting career.
McGregor has not fought since he lost to Dustin Poirier in 2021. Chandler’s last fight was also a loss to Poirier at UFC 281 in 2022.
Perhaps they will return to face each other as they both attempt to bounce back from those defeats. Chandler clearly hopes that is the case given his latest comments.
