Honor is gearing up to launch its Magic V2 foldable on Wednesday, July 12 and we finally have a real-life look at the device thanks to several in-hand images that appeared on Weibo. Magic V2 is shown in its blue and black color options though we only get a tour of the device in its folded state.
Honor Magic V2 hands-on
We can see the cover screen sports slim bezels and a punch hole cutout for the front-facing cam. The more interesting bit is that the right side of the panel curves into the frame. Magic V2 is one sleek foldable with a narrow profile and will be among the thinnest foldables to launch. According to speculation, the device weighs less than 240 grams.
Both the blue and black versions of the phone bring a leather-like finish and a substantial camera island which sticks out quite a bit, especially in the side profile shots. We can see three camera sensors on the back and we already know the main shooter will have a 25mm equivalent lens with an f/1.9 aperture.

The rest of the spec sheet is still pretty vague – rumors suggest the main screen will be of the LTPO AMOLED variety with a higher refresh rate than its predecessor and high-frequency PWM dimming.

The upcoming Honor foldable is expected to launch in two versions with one featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB storage and a less expensive version with last year’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. We’re also expecting a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 50W wireless charging.
