WWE Elimination Chamber from Perth, Australia featured the men’s and women’s Elimination Chamber matches in addition to the “Grayson Waller Effect” featuring Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. The Elimination Chamber centered around Rhea Ripley’s return to her home continent as she defended her WWE Women’s World Championship against Nia Jax.
Last week’s broadcast of SmackDown garnered a viewership of 2.555 million, topping the sports and network ratings.

Becky Lynch Wins Women’s WWE Elimination Chamber
Michael Cole kept saying Liv Morgan refers to this match as the “E-Liv-ination” Chamber, but it sounded too much like “Elimination” Chamber so it sounded awkward every time.
The stadium crowd was very loud, but it was an outdoor stadium, so the cheers weren’t as loud on TV as they were live.
Corey Graves referred to Naomi as his “wife’s partner.”
After all the entrances and fanfare, the bell didn’t ring for the first match until the first 20 minutes of the show.
WWE’s new production team wasted no time making use of new camera angles, microphones and wide shots from inside the Chamber.
Fans chanted “we want Tiffy” and “Tiffy Time” early on in the match. A good sign for newcomer Tiffany Stratton.
WWE showed the rankings on top of the pods of each entrant. Tiffany Stratton was rated 79, Bianca was ranked 95.
Stratton may have been the most over woman of the Chamber to this point, but Naomi shined with an impressive split-legged leg drop.
Liv mocked Stratton by saying “Livy Time” and the Ozzie crowd did not like that.
Stratton and Naomi did an impressive tandem cartwheel sequence that dazzled the crowd.
Tiffany Stratton scored the first pinfall over Naomi by vulturing the pinfall.
Raquel Rodriguez (86) entered next, and performed several monster spots. As soon as Rodriguez attacked the heel Stratton, fans booed.
Rodriguez powered out of three women trying to pin her, and fans chanted “bull—t.”
A diving senton splash from Liv Morgan to Rodriguez was followed by a fan-approved Tiffany Stratton Swanton Bomb.
WWE would have been wise to eliminate Tiffany Stratton last so this crowd didn’t turn on the match. Unfortunately, Stratton was the second woman pinned and fans once again chanted “B.S.”
Belair pinned Rodriguez with a KOD, resulting in a Final 3 of Belair, Morgan and Lynch. Belair was eliminated by Morgan, who was then pinned by Becky Lynch after a Manhandle Slam.
Women’s WWE Elimination Chamber Grade: B-
Judgment Day Def. New Catch Republic
In addition to Tiffany Stratton, Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne debuted new theme music.
Corey Graves said “New Catch Republic” sounds like somewhere his wife would order her clothes.
In a unsurprising update, R-Truth showed up in “Austria,” for WWE Elimination Chamber instead of Australia.
Dominik Mysterio was booed out of Perth and easily the most over individual anywhere near this match.
Fans chanted “Dominik’s a Wa—ker,” amid the action in the ring.
The second-most over WWE Superstar in this match was also not a part of this match as fans chanted “we want Truth!”
Tyler Bate finally got fans into the actual match with a strongman spot where he spun Priest around like a helicopter. It didn’t hurt that Mysterio was subsequently kicked out of the match to a huge pop. Fans got into the match soon after with chants of “this is awesome.”
There was a great finish with a double South of Heaven from the top rope followed by a Coup de Grace from Balor. By this point in the night, Cole was beginning to lose his voice.
New Catch Republic vs. Judgment Day Grade: B+
Cody Rhodes And Seth Rollins On The Grayson Waller Effect
Grayson Waller received a rousing ovation, and after doing a shoey with UFC heavyweight fighter Tai Tuavasa. He seemed a little buzzed by the time he started his promo.
Waller said Rhodes can thank the American Education system for failing to finish his story.
Both Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins were over in Australia. Roman Reigns and The Rock were not.
Rhodes asked if there were any Cody Crybabies in the house tonight, and they went crazy for him.
Surprisingly, Cody Rhodes challenged The Rock to a one-on-one match, and Seth Rollins said Rhodes wouldn’t be fighting this fight alone.
Grayson Waller Effect Grade: B-
Drew McIntyre Wins Men’s WWE Elimination Chamber
Fans booed Drew McIntyre vociferously, even chanting “CM Punk!”
Kevin Owens (86) entered the Chamber and immediately delivered a chokeslam as part of the Make-A-Wish program, and to fulfill a promise made to a young boy he met in Australia.
The fourth entrant was Bobby Lashley (89), injured arm and all. Lashley headed straight for McIntyre and was almost destined to be pinned by Drew. Fans chanted “Bobby Lashley!” Lashley was followed by Owens,
Fans showed signs of fatigue, but began to came alive when Randy Orton entered fifth. Orton was selling his back throughout the match. Then Paul entered the match after several minutes of writing messages on the glass pod using his finger and his breath.
Lashley delivered an awesome spear on Paul through the pod, giving Bron Breakker a run for his money. Fans chanted “thank you Bobby!” Of course, Lashley did damage to his bad elbow, leading to two Claymore Kicks and the pin.
As referees tended to Bobby Lashley AJ Styles hit the ring out of nowhere and laid out LA Knight. Ever the hypocrite, McIntyre vultured the pin. It looks like Styles will face LA Knight at WrestleMania, and Owens will face Paul.
Randy Orton eliminated Kevin Owens with an RKO, which further affected his back as he entered the Final 3 against McIntyre and Paul. The high spot of this match came when Logan Paul performed a cross body dive from the top of the pod on McIntyre. The move drew “you still suck!” chants.
Paul was eliminated via RKO just as he was about to use a pair of brass knuckles. This set up McIntyre vs. Orton. Paul got his receipt with a brass knuckles shot on Orton, and McIntyre vultured his elimination win of the night to win the Chamber.
Many WrestleMania matches were set up in this men’s Chamber. Everybody left the Chamber with a program. Knight-Styles, Paul-Orton-Owens and McIntyre-Rollins.
Men’s Elimination Chamber Grade: B-
Rhea Ripley Def. Nia Jax
Rhea Ripley received a great ovation and seemed overcome with emotion while posing in the ring.
In one of the first botches of the night, Ripley and Jax botched a hurricanrana.
There was limited heat when Ripley was on the defensive, probably because fans don’t want to see Rhea sell that much especially in Australia. They were electric, however, for Rhea’s offense.
In a truly meta moment, fans chanted “my hole” at Nia Jax.
Jax hit a Samoan Drop on an announce table that didn’t break, followed by a splash through the table and an Annihilator. Ripley still kicked out.
Ripley won the match with a superplex followed by a Riptide in a so-so main event.
Rhea Ripley vs. Nia Jax Grade: B-
