Recently announced on social media, this initiative by Madhya Pradesh Tourism aims to empower women and promote adventure tourism amidst the splendor of the state. This groundbreaking venture promises to take a group of adventurous women on an unforgettable journey.
This presents a splendid opportunity to explore various destinations in the heart of India. ‘Queen On The Wheel’ is geared up to lead participants on a thrilling 7-day expedition spanning over 1400 km on their bikes.
Participants will have the remarkable chance to visit enchanting tourist spots, wilderness areas, and historic sites, immersing themselves in their splendor and grandeur.
The 7-day itinerary includes:
1) The exhilarating 7-day/6-night bike journey of ‘Queen On The Wheel’ will kick off from Bhopal on March 2. During this journey, women bikers will be Covering a distance of 250 km, the route will include Chanderi Fort, Pranpura Village, and Sanchi Stupa, as reported by CAC Allrounder.
2) On day 2, the bikers will travel from Chanderi to Kuno and then to Gwalior, with the itinerary featuring the Kuno Forest Festival and interactions with tribal women.
3) Day 3 will see them journeying from Gwalior to Orchha via Sonagiri, exploring Mitaoli and Padavli.
4) On Day 4, bikers will travel from Orchha to Khajuraho, visiting Ladpura rural village, indulging in water activities in the Betwa River, and exploring the Ramrajan Temple.
5) En route to Sagar, they will visit temples, the Aadivart Tribal Museum, and relish a rural experience.
6) The day will entail traveling back to Bhopal, covering a distance of 170 km.
7) The final day will culminate with Women’s Day celebrations, prize distribution, and the closing ceremony.
