The Maple Leafs, according to several sources, have secured the services of Joel Edmundson. The Capitals, on the other hand, are withholding 50% of the salary in their hands.
In other words, the Habs are paying more for Edmundson than the Maple Leafs, who have only 25% of his contract between now and the end of the season.
