Gardaí have said a drug-fuelled ‘rave’ they shut down in south Dublin over the weekend, was “obviously in breach of all health and fire safety regulations”.
A woman at the Donnybrook party fell ill after taking ketamine and Gardaí were called to the scene.

When they arrived, officers found “dozens of people raving away” having bought tickets for €15.
The scene was complete with a “makeshift DJ booth, bar and all” – but officers shut it down for breaching health and safety standards.

Officers also seized quantities of ketamine, MDMA, acid and Alprazolam at the party and an investigation is now underway.
The woman who fell ill has since made a full recovery.
