vivo has taken the wraps off the vivo V30 series in Malaysia, comprising the vivo V30 and V30 Pro, these phones feature a stylish glass back design and for the first time on a V series phone, the vivo V30 Pro comes with triple 50MP cameras on the back with ZEISS T* glass coating, it is the best camera system that vivo has ever installed on a V series phone, and like similar segment competitors, it boasts great portrait photography capabilities.
Both the V30 series feature the same 6.78-inch display that has a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The vivo V30 Pro is powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 8200 chipset paired to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, while the V30 is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset paired to 12GB RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage, both phones are juiced by a 5000mAh battery that guarantees at least 4-years of durability while supporting 80W vivo FlashCharge.
In terms of cameras, the vivo V30 Pro’s triple camera array features a 50MP OIS main camera with ultra-sensing, a 50MP telephoto camera that does 2x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera, complementing the cameras is a larger Aura Ring light that comes with automatic temperature adjustment based on ambient lighting, and all thanks to the fast chipset and high-resolution camera sensors, all rear cameras can videos up to 4K 60 fps, the front camera also takes high resolution selfies at 50MP and supports 4K 30 fps videos.
The vivo V30 omits the telephoto camera of the Pro and doesn’t feature the ZEISS T* coating, it will still be able to achieve portrait photography with in-sensor zoom and comes with the same Aura Light that improves low light portrait photography, the front camera is also a 50MP camera, and all cameras will take up to 4K 30 fps videos.
The vivo V30 series can be preordered starting today, while general availability will be made on 16th March for the V30 and 30th March for the V30 Pro.
