About the film
Dog lives in Manhattan and he’s tired of being alone. One day he decides to build himself a robot, a companion. Their friendship blossoms, until they become inseparable, to the rhythm of 80s NYC. One summer night, Dog, with great sadness, is forced to abandon Robot at the beach.
Will they ever meet again?
The film is an animated tragicomedy based on the comic of the same name by Sara Varon and received the award for Best Film in the Contrechamp section of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
Entering the competition is as easy as usual, just follow @spotlightreport on Instagram (if you are not already) and fill in the form below with your personal details, and tell us the name of the comic book author in which the film is based.. (Hint: the answer is in this post).
