Ontario Provincial Police were continuing their crackdown on errant motorists during the Easter weekend.
Early Saturday, patrol officers charged a driver on Highway 401 near South Stormont with stunt driving and other charges after the vehicle was clocked at 164 km/h in a 100 km/h zone.

The driver was also unable to provide proof of insurance or ownership of the vehicle.

“This vehicle was also the subject of two traffic complaints in the last 48 hours,” OPP said on social media.
Late Friday, police attended a two-car collision on the 401 near Cardinal.
“The driver claimed someone else was driving — investigation by #GrenvilleOPP revealed otherwise,” police noted drily in another social-media post.
That driver was arrested and charged with impaired driving, obstructing a peace officer and dangerous driving.
