Chelsea will look to return to winning ways when they face struggling Everton on Monday evening.
The Blues have struggled so far this season and were held to a 2-2n draw by 20th-placed Sheffield United last time out, despite twice going ahead.
Veteran defender Thiago Silva put the Blues in front at Bramall Lane, before Jayden Bogle drew the hosts level.
Noni Madueke then restored the visitors’ advantage, but an injury time leveller from Oli McBurnie denied Mauricio Pochettino’s side a much-needed three points.
The result leaves Chelsea ninth in the top flight table, and it appears that the the club’s coaches are growing frustrated with one of their most expensive signings.
As per Football Insider, Pochettino and his staff are ‘unimpressed’ by Mykhaylo Mudryk’s progression.
The Ukrainian joined the Blues from Shakhtar Donetsk last year, for a fee that could rise as high as £89 million if certain clauses are met.
Since moving to London, though, the winger has struggled to recreate his best form.
In total, the 23-year-old has scored just six goals and provided only four assists in 50 appearances for the Blues across all competitions.
The report claims that both Mudryk and teammate Raheem Sterling have frustrated the club’s coaches with their lack of significant impact this term.
Mudryk has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter for Chelsea, and the report suggests that the club could be in the market for a new winger when the transfer window reopens this summer.
Athletic Bilbao star Nico Williams is said to be a target for the Blues, with his release clause set at £43 million.
Mudryk is currently contracted to Chelsea until the end of the 2030/31 season.
