St. Vincent, born Annie Clark, is a renowned American musician known for her innovative guitar playing and eclectic style that blends rock, pop, and experimental music. She has received multiple Grammy Awards and is celebrated for pushing the boundaries of guitar music and performance art.

Born September 28, 1982, in Tulsa, Oklahoma
Inspired to play guitar by watching Ritchie Valens and the movie La Bamba
Attended Berklee College of Music in Boston for three years
Performed as part of Sufjan Stevens’s touring band in 2006
Released debut album Marry Me in 2007
Won the Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album for Vincent in 2015
Designed her own signature guitar with Ernie Ball Music Man in 2016
Made her film debut directing a segment for the horror anthology XX in 2016
Won the Grammy for Best Rock Song for Masseduction in 2017
Produced the album The Center Won’t Hold for Sleater-Kinney in 2019
Released six studio albums so far, with the most recent Daddy’s Home in 2021
