Eddie Hearn got into it with Ryan Garcia’s father, Henry, after his son’s upset victory over Devin Haney on Saturday night.
Garcia Sr sparked the back and forth by calling Hearn a ‘piece of s***’ while the Matchroom Boxing chief gave an interview backstage.

Ironically, Hearn was praising Garcia when his father shouted: “That’s what you get. You’re a piece of s***.”
Hearn fired back: “Oh really? F*** you. F*** you, you little piece of s***. What are you talking about?”
Garcia Sr then grabbed his crotch as he cried out: “F*** you, you know you’re a piece of s*** and that’s what you get.
“Now what are you going to say? Luke Campbell and Devin Haney, f*** you.
“Now who have you got?”
When Hearn rebutted Garcia Sr’s point with Jaron Ennis’ name, Henry suddenly snapped out of his fit of rage and went over to shake Hearn’s hand as both men called a truce in a bizarre turn of events.
Garcia Sr may not have been happy during that fleeting moment backstage but he will have certainly been happy with what he saw from his son tonight.
‘King Ry’ was in fine form as he dropped Haney three times en route to a majority decision victory in front of a packed-out Barclays Centre in New York.

Two judges scored the fight 114-110, 115-109 in his favour while a third had it down as a draw at 112-112.
Haney had plenty of success on the outside with straight shots, however, Garcia was able to overwhelm ‘The Dream’ with his power and speed as he sent his long-time amateur rival tumbling to canvas in rounds seven, ten and eleven.
