Julianno Sosa’s “Carro Re Kl” in collaboration with Pailita has topped this week’s new music Latin poll.
In a poll published on Friday (April 12) — in support of the weekly New Music Latin roundup and playlist, curated by Billboard Latin and Billboard Español editors — music fans voted for the Chilean collaborators’ new single as their favorite music release of the past week.
“Carro Re Kl” garnered a whopping nearly 98% of the votes, beating out other new singles such as Ryan Castro’s “El Cantante del Ghetto”; Nicky Jam and Trueno’s “Cangrinaje”; Greeicy’s “KAI”; Rauw Alejandro and Sky Rompiendo’s “Espectacular”; and Brytiado and Anuel AA’s “KILERITO.”

Produced by Nscar on the Beat and Naxo Raymond, and released independently under Julianno Sosa and Encore Recordings, the winning track is an infectious reggaetón with synth piano melodies that backs up Sosa’s deep vocals and Pailita’s more sugary notes.
“You left me alone when I was in love/ Everything you did to me one day, left me in a bad state/ Once again I have to be at the bottom/ Go through all this work to forget you,” says part of the lyrics that details someone who’s trying to get over a break up.
Julianno Sosa (real name: Cesar Alejandro Pozo Martínez) and Pailita (real name: Carlos Javier Rain Pailacheo) are part of a fast-growing wave of urban acts in Chile, joining other Chilean newcomers such as FloyyMenor and Cris MJ, who are currently No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart with “Gata Only.”
