It was just last week that we were lusting over Rihanna’s honey-blonde hair—but glam moves fast for the patron saint of Fenty Beauty. As of last night, she’s now rocking a shocking new hair color: pastel pink.
The superstar was spotted in Miami, there to support partner A$AP Rocky’s new Puma collaboration, which was released during a whirlwind weekend of F1 races in the city. As usual, Rihanna looked impeccably chic in a slinky black silk dress—but it was that shocking new dye job that was the real star of the ensemble. The multihyphenate opted for a dramatic beauty transformation just two days ahead of the 2024 Met Gala—where she will hopefully make an appearance on the famous Met steps.

This isn’t the first time Rihanna has pulled off pastel pink hair, though. The singer, actor, designer, entrepreneur, and style icon (truly, the list goes on) went pink back in 2014, debuting a sugary pixie cut at a Clippers game in Los Angeles. Her 2024 version? its long, luscious, and extra-bouncy.
The question is: Did Rihanna revive her pink locks for the Met Gala? Are we about to be served an epic head-to-toe pink fashion moment, too? Only time will tell. But for now, one thing is clear: Pink sure is her color.
