Times Radio: Royal fans give view on Harry and Meghan
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly facing a “living hell” amid “tremendous financial pressure” to fund their extravagant lifestyle following the end of their deal with Spotify.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who stepped down as working royals in 2020, are currently raising their two children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in a multi-million dollar mansion in Montecito, California.
Their home and security are extremely expensive to run, with the couple now having to reconsider their money-making options after they parted ways with Spotify last month.
They still have a deal with Netflix – which is contracted to last until at least 2025 – and their latest documentary project Heart of Invictus is scheduled to drop on the platform in August.
Now Harry is expected to travel to Africa to start work on a new project, with the couple working separately on “different continents” as their opportunities develop individually.

A source told PageSix that Harry and Meghan are said to be “under tremendous financial pressure to fund their lavish California lifestyle, including their $14million (£10.7million) mansion and huge security costs”.
They added: “That stress, coupled with their emotional issues, has likely made life a living hell.
“Taking time apart on different continents will hopefully help them find whatever they need to move on.”

Upon leaving royal life behind Harry and Meghan signed multiple lucrative deals with some of the biggest names in entertainment, including Spotify.
However after just one series of Meghan’s podcast Archetypes, consisting of 12 episodes, it was announced that Archewell Audio and the streaming giant would not be producing any new content together.
In spite of this setback it has been suggested that the Duke and Duchess could pursue projects separately, with Harry going back to his philanthropic work in Africa and Meghan possibly restarting her successful lifestyle blog The Tig.

Another suggestion is that Meghan could enter the political arena and run for Governor of California, as actors Arnold Schwarzenegger and Ronald Reagan have done in the past.
However friends of the couple have been quick to quash rumours that their relationship is in trouble after a tough few months.
One source told PageSix that the reports of a split were simply “not true” and that any news to the contrary is “literally made up”.
