Police in Saskatoon made three arrests on Thursday after receiving a call about a man brandishing a shotgun.
In a news release on Friday, city police said officers were called around 11:50 a.m. to the 600 block of Avenue X South, where a witness described the man and told officers he was last seen entering a nearby apartment building.

Police said a 30-year-old man and a sawed-off shotgun were then found in a search of the building, and he has been charged with multiple firearms related offences.

Police also arrested a 31-year-old man who was trying to leave the building when officers arrived. Police said fentanyl was found in a search of the second man, who was also wanted on multiple warrants. He is charged with possession of a controlled substance and breaching probation orders.
Police also arrested a 21-year-old woman at the scene, who is charged with breaching a release order.
