International Game Technology’s Wheel of Fortune and MegaJackpots slots have made three very lucky players happy in April.
Wheel of Fortune and MegaJackpots are the two games that paid out the impressive trio of life-changing jackpots last month.
Since their official launch almost three decades ago in 1996, Wheel of Fortune slots have generated more than 1,100 millionaires while crossing over the $3.5 billion milestone in paid jackpots.
Nevada and Michigan Winners on the List
The first slot player who scooped up one of the three million-dollar-plus jackpots was Reno resident Michael.
On April 4, while passing time and waiting for his friend, Michael tried his luck on the Double Diamond Wheel of Fortune slot machine at the Nugget Casino Resort in Sparks, Nevada.
The game, nicknamed “Millionaire Maker”, lived up to its name after helping Michael hit a massive $1,794,169.54 jackpot.
Just one week later, on April 11, an unidentified player at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas decided to sit down and try his luck on the Wheel of Fortune Diamond Spins 2X Wilds game.
It only took him a very lucky and lucrative $7 spin to bet himself $1,106,270.82, according to the news that emerged from the game manufacturer’s spokesperson.

This wasn’t the first time for a Golden Nugget bettor in Las Vegas to hit the million-dollar jackpot on a Wheel of Fortune slot machine in the past year.
Last September, another lucky gamer scooped up a $1,520,751.38 jackpot on the Wheel of Fortune Gold Spin Triple Gold machine.
The third and last winner in the exciting April trio was recorded on April 19, when an online MegaJackpots player grabbed the $1,108,315 jackpot while engaged in a MegaJackpots JungleTower game on FanDuel Casino in Michigan.
