Two people were sent to hospital Sunday following the collision of a car and an SUV at the intersection of Bank Street and Lester Road.
The crash occurred at about 1:30 p.m. resulting in road closures in in the area just sound of Hunt Club, said Ottawa police.
At first, the injuries were considered serious.
However, as of about 4 p.m. the injuries were considered not life-threatening, said police.

Meanwhile, paramedics attended two other collision resulting in injuries earlier on Sunday.
A woman in her 60s and and a 75-year-old man were sent to treated for shoulder and front injuries consistent with seatbelt shock following a two-vehicle collision at Riverside Drive and Kilborn Avenue. Both were in stable condition, said Ottawa paramedics. An 18-year-old man in the second vehicle was treated for wrist injuries at the scene.
Two men were taken to the trauma centre with serious injuries following a two-vehicle collision on Terry Fox Drive in Kanata shortly after 1:15 p.m.
A man in his 20s suffered serious leg injuries and a 67-year-old man suffered serious chest and leg injuries, said paramedics.
