URBANMOISTSPOOLBELIE

After years of having a set strategy for Quordle, which involves playing three start words that use the most common letters in the game, I decided to shake things up today… but I’m not sure I’ll be doing it again. Yes, I solved the puzzle, but it took me exactly the same number of guesses as it often does with my prior approach, while taking me about three times as long to complete. I’m not entirely sure what the point was, or what I was trying to prove.

On the other hand, maybe this was just a difficult Quordle today. BELIE has a repeated E, SPOOL a repeated O. URBAN a relatively uncommon format with U at the start and B in the middle. I’ll try again tomorrow and see if things improve.

How did you do today? Send me an email and let me know.

An avid photographer, Marc likes nothing better than taking pictures of very small things (bugs, his daughters) or very big things (distant galaxies). He also enjoys live music, gaming, cycling, and beating Wordle (he authors the daily Wordle today page).
