NetherRealm Studios along with Warner Bros. Games has been working on Mortal Kombat 1 ahead of its release on September 19th, 2023. The game will be available on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Today, the companies have released the Umgadi trailer, showing several new playable and Kameo characters. Furthermore, the company has unveiled characters that will be part of the DLC, Kombat Pack.
Thus far, players can get their hands on Li Mei, Tanya and Baraka, who are main roster characters. Each character has a unique backstory, for example, Baraka was an outcast from the Tarkat plague and is now a deadly monster who leads the Outworlders in battle. Similarly, the team has unveiled Kameo Fighters such as Darrius and the infamous Goro. Darrius is a classic fighter who can provide support during matches with a range of moves

Interested fans can get their hands on the Kombat Pack by pre-ordering the Premium Edition and Kollector’s Edition. Moreover, the Kombat Pack features Quan Chi, Ermac, Peacemaker, Omni-Man and Homelander. These are all iconic characters, stemming from the franchise itself or popular television series such as Peacemaker, The Boys and Invincible. Also, there are other Kameo Fighters from the Kombat Pack such as Ferra, Johnny Cage, Mavado and Tremor. Thus, fans will have a host of characters to use and play with throughout the game.
