This is your perfect engagement ring, according to your star sign
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

With Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury’s engagement taking over social media feeds, many people, both single and in relationships may be turning their imaginations to their own future engagements. And what’s an engagement without a ring?

And as it turns out, your perfect ring may be written in the stars, as explained by Lorna Haddon, head of diamonds and jewellery at Beaverbrooks.

She says: “Everyone has their own unique taste when it comes to choosing the perfect engagement ring, but if you’re struggling to decide which one is for you, why not let the stars help you?”

Lorna has picked out two rings perfect for each star sign, so from the fiery Aries to the free-spirited Leo, every bride-to-be can be sure they’ve picked the perfect match.

You may be able to find your perfect engagement ring by looking to the stars

You may be able to find your perfect engagement ring by looking to the stars

Aquarius (20 January – 18 February)

Those with the Aquarius star sign tend to be characterised by their free spirited-nature, independence, and ability to express their creativity. And with the symbol of the ‘water-bearer’ meaning they may be drawn to a soft-blue hue, Lorna has picked out two aquamarine stone rings, the gorgeous 18ct White Gold Diamond Aquamarine Three Stone Ring (£2,650) and the striking 18ct White Gold Diamond Aquamarine Halo Ring (£2,250).

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

For the sociable Pisces, Lorna recommends this elegant Platinum Diamond Solitaire Ring (£2,800), which she says “mimics the natural waves of the ocean” and is the “ultimate sign of eternal love”. She has also identified the 18ct Rose Gold Diamond Halo Ring (£960) as ideal for the zodiac sign most likely to “wear their heart on their sleeve.”

Aries (21 March – 19 April)

For the sign unafraid of bold glamour, Lorna has selected the breathtaking sparkling Platinum Diamond Cluster Ring (£2,240). And for those looking for their ring to further reflect their fiery nature, she recommends the 18ct Gold Diamond Cluster Ring Bridal Set (£2,240), where a cluster of diamonds gleam against a yellow gold band.

Taurus (20 April – 20 May)

The grounded Taurus may find themselves drawn to earthy tones and simplistic styles, and for that, Lorna has selected the vintage-inspired 18ct White Gold Diamond Emerald Halo Ring (£1,750), which she describes as having a “magical oval-shaped emerald”. And for those who would prefer a classic look, she recommends the “timeless” Platinum Diamond Solitaire Ring (£4,500)

Gemini (21 May – 21 June)

The energetic and spontaneous Gemini is sometimes thought to have two-sides, making vintage-inspired Platinum Diamond Emerald Cut Three Stone Halo Ring (£4,750) perfect for them with its two dazzling diamonds on either side of the beautiful central gem. And for those more extroverted Geminis, Lorna has picked out the Entwine 18ct Gold Diamond Solitaire Ring (£2,500) which she says is “sure to capture everyone’s attention.”

Cancer (22 June – 22 July)

Symbolised by the element of water, Cancerians may find themselves drawn to the deep, rich tones of the ocean, so this 18ct White Gold Diamond Tanzanite Pear Shaped Halo Ring (£1,152) makes for a perfect choice, according to Lorna, who also suggests the “equally stunning” 9ct White Gold Diamond Three Stone Ring (£1,200).

Leo (23 July – 22 August)

Often interpreted as the “kings and queens of the celestial jungle”, the extroverted Leo are certainly unafraid of the spotlight, so for them, Lorna recommends the sensational 18ct White Gold Diamond Cluster Three Stone Ring (£1,950) or the sophisticated Platinum Diamond Marquise Cut Halo Ring (£2,350) – both of which will certainly steal the show.

Virgo (23 August – 22 September)

Virgos are known for their perfectionist streak and their fine eye for detail, which makes the sparkling 18ct White Gold Diamond Cushion Cut Halo Ring (£2,000) a perfect choice for them. And for the Virgo looking to further emulate their Earth sign, Lorna recommends the exquisite 18ct White Gold Diamond Emerald Three Stone Ring (£4,750).

Libra (23 September – 23 October)

The stunning 9ct White Gold Diamond Three Stone Ring (£1,750) and elegant Platinum Diamond Half Eternity Triple Row Ring (£2,236) are the perfect choice for the confident and charming Libra. These glamour rings will satisfy the Libra’s keen eye for symmetry and will leave them oozing classical elegance throughout their engagement.

Your star sign could help you find your perfect ring

Scorpio (24 October – 21 November)

Passionate and creative Scorpio is unafraid to be big and bold, meaning the 18ct White Gold Diamond Pink Sapphire Halo Ring (£1,850) with its unique and striking pink sapphire could be the perfect choice for an engagement ring. And for those Scorpios looking for a more classical diamond style, Lorna has identified the sparkling 18ct White Gold Diamond Cluster Double Halo Ring as another great choice.

Sagittarius (22 November – 21 December)

Sagittarians “may favour rich, warm tones to emulate their inner vivacity”, says Lorna, who has selected the beautiful 18ct Gold Diamond Halo Ring (£1,680) enchanting 18ct Gold Diamond Solitaire Ring (£2,500) for this sign. Both of these rings are perfect for the open-minded and compassionate Sagittarius.

Capricorn (22 December – 19 January)

As with many earth signs, Capricorns are naturally grounded and firm in their beliefs, and may find themselves steering more towards classic and elegant designs. For the traditional Capricorn, Lorna has identified the sophisticated 18ct White Gold Diamond Sapphire Halo Ring (£1,800), which features a “timeless” Sapphire stone, and radiant 18ct Gold Diamond Three Stone Ring (£3,500) which will allow the Capricorn to further emulate their sign with its warm and earthy tones.
