Hendrick’s Gin is adding a lot of flowers into the mix until September 30 with a new gin and a pop-up bar in collaboration with the Contento Italian restaurant, dubbed Hendrick’s Gin Palace Garden.
Straight from their Cabinet of Curiosities, freshen up and bloom like a flower for a taste of Hendrick’s Flora Adora, the floral new limited release gin, perfect for garden get-togethers.
Hendrick’s Master Distiller Lesley Gracie is said to have taken inspiration from the pollinating flowers in her garden and created a unique botanical blend.
To celebrate the occasion, the gin brand is transforming the Contento restaurant into a Wildflower Garden pop-up where you will be surrounded by, you guessed it, lots of flowers.
The pop-up invites all busy bees and social butterflies to come to the rustic restaurant for a fresh selection of cocktails using the Flora Adora gin and dishes to complement the palate
Drinks come in three choices using Flora Adora. Lover Club is mixed with raspberry & peach puree, lemon juice and egg whites. The Wilds of Contento adds strawberry, Earl Grey fortified wine, malic acid and sparkling wine. And Gioielli is mixed with rosemary vermouth, green tea umeshu, and lemon bitters.
As for food? There’s the naked tomatoes with fresh homemade cheese, the pan-seared baby squid served with N’Duja and toasted almonds, and for something heavier try the Branzino Fillet with baby asparagus and salsa verde. Flower people can top it all off with some cheesecake.
Guests can also earn an exclusive Hendrick’s Flora Adora diffuser (30 ml) for every three Hendrick’s Flora Adora cocktails ordered. The diffuser has been imbued with an essential oil customized for the launch of Hendrick’s Flora Adora.
