Knwls creatively presents its identity on a blank slate using JPG’s house signature elements such as corsetry, mesh, and screen-printed designs.
The brands already share similar aesthetics, both catering to the noughties fashion resurgence with a sultry twist.
Driving engagement for the collaboration, stars such as music artists Doja Cat and Ice Spice attended the party held to promote the partnership during New York Fashion Week.
Asics x Otto 958

Verdict:
Building on the cult popularity of Kiko Kostadinov’s consistent collaborations with Asics, the designer has joined forces with Los Angeles art gallery Morán Morán to create the Otto 958 fashion project.
The two Gel-Flexkees combine the noughties fashion resurgence, football culture, and the ironically ugly yet high-tech designs that Kostadinov is known for.
Launching on September 8 via Otto 958 in the US, they sold out within minutes, and are already listed on eBay for more than double the original retail price.

Social context: So far on TikTok, #bimbaypalomo has generated 65,200 views.
Verdict:
Both hailing from Spain, the labels are able to further leverage their nationality and embrace Spanish fashion design via this collab.
Palomo Spain is able to connect with a more mainstream consumer base by partnering with Bimba Y Lola, which boasts a following of 1.7 million on Instagram. In return, Bimba Y Lola had the opportunity to present at NYFW, and explore higher-end offerings.
Praised as one of the “best collections to come out of NYFW ever,” by one fashion critic, Palomo Spain’s show has been a highlight for many, foreshadowing great sales for this collection.
