Sony has reduced the price of its SA-CS9 Active Subwoofer with Bass Reflex in the US, with discounts now available at the brand’s online store, Amazon and Best Buy. The compact 10-inch MRC cone-type active subwoofer supports High-Resolution Audio and has a 115W maximum output.
The Sony SA-CS9 Active Subwoofer with Bass Reflex is currently discounted in the US. At the Sony online store and Best Buy, you can now buy the gadget for US$149.99, reducing the cost from US$249.99 with a US$37.50 price cut. The device is slightly cheaper at Amazon, with a 41% saving on the RRP, allowing you to buy the product for US$148.
The SACS9 is a 10-inch freestanding subwoofer with a mica-reinforced cone diaphragm and support for High-Resolution Audio. A bass reflex enclosure and motion feedback technology combine to prevent distortion, and a woof cabinet and cloth grille optimize durability while minimizing unwanted vibrations. The subwoofer delivers low-frequency sounds with a 28 to 200 Hz frequency response, a built-in amplifier and 115W peak power. Other features include a power save mode, cutoff frequency and level adjustment tools and phase switching.
Sony suggests using the SA-CS9 active subwoofer to create a 5.1.2-channel home cinema set-up compatible with Dolby Atmos. The compact gadget measures 11.6 x 13.6 x 15.8-in (~29.5 x 34.6 x 40.0 cm).
