Samsung’s “The Frame” smart TVs have come a long way since their 2017 release. Launched in order to appeal to the crowd that wants a big TV but doesn’t want a TV to dominate their decor, the latest models in the line, released last year, introduced an anti-reflection matte display that took the “framed artwork” aspect to new levels and with 4K picture quality. The one stumbling block has always been price—but now through Sept. 3, Woot is selling new and refurbished models at some of their lowest prices ever.
What to know about Woot’s deal on Samsung’s The Frame TVs
All the TVs included in the sale are 2022 models and come with Alexa built-in. PCMag rated them as average TVs, with their main criticism being the picture quality doesn’t justify the high price point. If you’re someone who can live with a less than perfect image in return for the aesthetic benefits of The Frame, these deals can deliver all the positives of these sets, while helping to alleviate the biggest negative (they cost a freaking ton).
If you’re interested, you need to act quickly, as the TVs are selling fast. The new 50-inch and 85-inch models sold out on the first day of discounting, so it’s likely they won’t last until the end of the month. As noted, the sale includes both new and refurbished TVs. The refurbished sets might come with signs of wear, but they have all been serviced and found to be in good working order.
