Director Atlee who has given four back to back blockbusters in Tamil namely ‘Raja Rani’, ‘Theri’, ‘Bigil’ and ‘Mersal’ made his Bollywood debu with ‘Jawan’ which released world wide on September 7th. The film starring Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone and Nayanthara had music by Anirudh and has collected more than rupees nine hundred crores and racing towards the magical 1000 Crores mark.
Already Atlee has forced his name into the history books as the highest grossing director in Tamil cinema. Meanwhile the out and out commercial filmmaker stated during a recent press interaction that he has been working nonstop for a couple of years and wanted to spend quality time with his son Meer for atleast the next four months.
True to his words Atlee first flew to Mumbai to participate in the Ganesha Chathurthi function at the Reliance Group owner Mukesh Ambani’s house. He has now visited a famous wildlife sanctuary and his wife Priya Atlee has shared a photograph of her hubby showing an elephant to their son Meer.
Atlee is next expected to make movies with Tollywood superstar Allu Arjun and a possible pan Indian biggie that will have both Shah Rukh Khan and Thalapathy Vijay in the lead roles.
