The Foxes smashed four past their hosts to notch their eighth win of the campaign
Ghana’s Issahaku Abdul Fatawu, Nigeria’s Wilfred Ndidi, and Kelechi Iheanacho all played key roles in propelling Leicester City to an impressive 1-4 away win at Blackburn Rovers in a matchday nine clash of the EFL Championship on Sunday afternoon.

Leicester City suffered a 3-1 League Cup defeat at Liverpool in midweek, but the Foxes returned to winning ways with a slender victory at Ewood Park.
On loan for Sporting Lisbon, Fatawu was exciting in the early stages, and the teenage forward’s industry was quickly rewarded when he set up Wout Faes to open the scoring for Leicester in the fourth minute.
Five minutes later, Blackburn Rovers equalised through Sammie Szmodics, who finished well past Mads Hermansen in Leicester City’s goal.
The visitors remained the better side, though, and they regained the lead just before the half-hour mark after Ndidi brilliantly set up Jamie Vardy for an expert finish.

Iheanacho replaced Vardy in the 76th minute, and six minutes later, the Super Eagles striker got himself on the score sheet, firing home from the penalty spot.
English midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall rounded up the scoring for Leicester City late in the encounter.
The win lifts Leicester City to the top of the Championship table with 24 points from nine matches.
Enzo Maresca’s men have a two-point advantage over Ipswich Town in second place. They are favourites to make an instant return to the Premier League after they were relegated last season.
