Gombe State Governor
The governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON has approved the appointment of Abdulmalik Sulaiman as the new Chairman of Mineral Resources and Environmental Management Committee ( MIREMCO) in Gombe State.
This is in accordance with the Nigerian Minerals and Mining Act ( NMMA 2007).
The Secretary to the State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, who conveyed the Governor’s approval in a letter to the Federal Ministry of Mines and Steel Development, said the new appointment followed the death of the former Chairman, Late Engr Sanusi Ibrahim Gwani in April 2021.
