Antric has revealed the new Evo_1 electric cargo bike in Europe. The updated model is both more efficient and more compact than its predecessor without losing too much interior space. Features include a 250W motor, 50 km (~31 miles) assistance range and foot pedal-operated brakes.
The new Antric Evo_1 e-bike has been unveiled in Europe. The company says it has designed the upgraded model from scratch, using the same “avant-garde” outline of its predecessor. At first glance, it looks more like a compact electric van, with a covered cabin, cargo box and a seat rather than a saddle, suited to longer rides.
The five-speed Evo_1 e-bike is powered by a 250W motor with a top assistance speed of 25 kph (~16 mph). Two 1,440 Wh LiFePO4 batteries provide up to 50 km (~31 miles) range, and the hydraulic braking system is operated via a foot pedal. Other features include a built-in display, keyless entry, a USB-C charging port and LED lighting.
The updated Evo_1 is both more efficient and smaller than its predecessor without compromising on interior space. The new model’s dimensions are 2,983 x 999 x 1,951 mm (~117.4 x 39.3 x 76.8-in, L x W x H), with the cargo box measuring 1,555 x 819 x 1,734 mm (~61.2 x 32.2 x 68.3-in) internally. The e-bike has a 291 kg (~641.5 lbs) payload, a 2.2 m³ (~77.7 ft³) load volume, a full suspension chassis and 16-in wheels. The new Antric Evo_1 e-bike will retail from €20,274, with the first deliveries expected to be made at the end of November.
