After a long wait Subaru Australia has finally revealed the indicative specification and pricing for the Solterra SUV, the first electric Subaru car sold in our country.
Notably the specification and features are indicative only and subject to change. Final Australian specification will be confirmed before the end of the year.
Key features that differentiate the Solterra from other EV SUV’s sold in Australia are the famed Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and 210mm of ground clearance at Kerb Weight.
At this price point I had hoped the Solterra EV SUV would have a range of about 500km WLTP or more rather than the advertised 414km and support for 11kW 3 phase charging.
There will be two versions: Solterra AWD $77,990 and the Solterra AWD Touring $83,690, plus on road costs.
The price for both versions includes a 5 Year Service Plan, 5 years Roadside Assistance, carpet mats, cargo tray and a 2kW AC charging cable with 8 Amp wall plug.

Subaru says the Solterra SUV not only marks the debut of a battery electric vehicle (BEV) in Australia but also represents the beginning of increased diversification in the Subaru mode line-up that will include additional Hybrid and battery electric models in the future.
