iHeartRadio Music Festival has just added Travis Scott to its 2023 lineup, alongside scheduled performances from Lenny Kravitz, Foo Fighters, Lil Wayne, and more. The sudden move comes alongside a Texas grand jury’s decision to acquit the rapper of all criminal charges tied to the 2021 Astroworld tragedy.
iHeartMedia has announced the addition of Travis Scott to the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Festival lineup, taking place Friday, September 22, and Saturday, September 23, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The company did not offer any context for the sudden addition, though it coincides with Travis Scott’s acquittal by a Texas grand jury on criminal charges tied to the 2021 Astroworld tragedy.
Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, this year’s two-day event will feature performances from Foo Fighters, Fall Out Boy, Kelly Clarkson, Kane Brown, Lil Wayne, Lenny Kravitz, Miguel, Public Enemy, Sheryl Crow, Travis Scott, Tim McGraw, TLC, Thirty Seconds to Mars, and more to be announced.
Each night, the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Festival will broadcast live for fans via iHeartMedia radio stations throughout the country across more than 150 markets. For the first time this year, Hulu will serve as the official streaming partner of the iHeartRadio Music Festival. Performances will be livestreamed to Hulu subscribers at no additional cost, and highlights will be available on-demand on Hulu in the weeks following the event.
The 2023 iHeartRadio Music Festival is co-produced by John Sykes and Tom Poleman for iHeartMedia, and Michael Dempsey for Dempsey Productions. Tickets are available now via AXS.com, with more information on iHeartRadio’s website.

The timing of Travis Scott’s addition to the lineup is curious, given that the musician was recently cleared of all charges related to the 2021 Astroworld crowd crush event that resulted in the deaths of ten people — including a 10-year-old boy.
That said, Scott still faces civil lawsuits related to the event, including a case brought by the family of the 10-year-old boy. The family of another of the victims settled on undisclosed terms with Scott, Live Nation, and others in October 2022.
