During the second semi-final of the Pakistan Cup 2023-24 between Karachi Whites and Multan, a collision between Shan Masood and Sarfaraz Ahmed disrupted the game, leaving Pakistan’s Test team captain injured.
The incident occurred when both players sprinted to claim a catch, resulting in a severe collision.
Sarfaraz managed to get back on his feet, but Masood appeared to be in considerable discomfort, clutching his ankle in pain.
Medical assistance was brought onto the field, and Masood walked off, leaving concerns about the severity of his injury.
Before the incident, Masood scored 41 runs off 38 balls during the first innings.
