Foundry and IDC Middle East are proud to launch the first edition of CSO30 Awards in the UAE, KSA and Qatar, recognising the top 30 senior security executives in each country with outstanding leadership in driving positive business outcomes through effective risk mitigation strategies

Reflecting Foundry’s (formerly IDG Communications) and IDC’s increasing commitment to the region, CSO30 is aligned to a global awards program and viewed as a mark of excellence within the enterprise. The ceremony for the inaugural edition of the CSO30 Awards will take place at the IDC CISO Roundtable on May 15 at Dubai’s Jumeirah Mina A’Salam Hotel, June 4 at Riyadh’s Mövenpick Hotel and June 10 at Doha’s Grand Hyatt Hotel & Villas.

The conference, themed ‘Evolving Threats, Advanced Defenses: Cybersecurity in the Next Era’, will host the region’s most senior tech and security leaders. The agenda will feature fascinating presentations led by top security experts, exhilarating panel discussions with respected industry thought leaders, and power-packed sessions hosted by market-leading technology/security vendors.

The CSO30 Awards ceremony is an exclusive invitation-only event for leading security decision-makers in enterprises across the Middle East who have demonstrated the highest standards of competence in the domain of cyber and information security. The event will provide enterprise security leaders with an excellent opportunity to enhance their knowledge, take their businesses to the next level, and network with their peers and the industry’s leading technology vendors.

About the CSO30 Awards

The awards form part of a global recognition platform that has spanned the U.S., Europe, ASEAN, Asia/Pacific, India, and a host of other countries. The awards program has included successful editions of CSO100, CSO50, and CSO30 around the world, and this year it’s being launched in the Middle East!

The CSO30 Awards 2024 will establish itself as a recognized platform for cybersecurity excellence in the Middle East. The CSO30 Awards will recognize excellence in security practices across the UAE, KSA and Qatar, honoring the executives responsible for implementing robust security strategies at their organizations. The winners will be the highest level of security practice heads from the Middle East’s largest companies, with appropriate representation across verticals.

To be selected as a CSO30 Awards winner for the 2024 edition, applicants must highlight information security projects and cybersecurity initiatives that successfully demonstrated outstanding business value in the constantly evolving digital and threat landscape of 2023.
