The Ministry of Commerce issued its Q2 2023 bulletin on the performance of the Saudi business sector.
More than 56,000 commercial registers were issued in the second quarter. The total number of existing commercial registers exceeded 1.35 million.

By region, Riyadh recorded the largest number of commercial registers with 17,900. Makkah came second with 12,900 , followed by Eastern Province with 8,900.
The youth category holds 48% of total existing commercial registers for institutions, with females representing 40% of the total.
The ministry added that it is working on 10 priority projects.
