Absher platform achieved savings worth over SAR 26 billion for the Saudi economy in 2023, spokesperson Tariq Al-Humaid told CNBC Arabia TV.
He added that the platform also achieved financial, environmental, and security savings, in addition to improving the quality of life, noting that digitization saved a large amount of paper.
Absher currently provides over 400 services to more than 27 million digital identities, the top official said, indicating that the number of operations achieved through the platform exceeded 221 million in 2023, with more than 605,000 transactions carried out per day.
The ministry’s strategy is focused on the continuity of digital transformation through fully automating services, in addition to providing services in a qualitative manner through focusing on artificial intelligence and attracting new technologies.
