Nigerian Comedian Ayo Makun, better known as AY, has humorously dismissed rumours claiming he’s expecting a child with Big Brother Naija star, Alex.
Alex had been accused of having an affair with AY and it was even rumoured that she was pregnant with the comedian’s child.
It was alleged that Alex caused the storm that ended AY’s marriage to Mabel Makun, who has since moved out of their matrimonial home.

Consequent to the widespread rumours, Alex got off social media in March 2024 and just returned on Wednesday, May 22. Her first post on Instagram was a video that included some harsh comments people had made about her because of the situation with AY.
However, she didn’t directly address the pregnancy rumours.
AY, known for turning tough situations into laughter, responded to Alex’s video with a light-hearted comment.
He joked, “Above all, please don’t do anything to my baby that you are carrying. We must entertain all the jobless people on social media.”

In April, AY’s estranged wife, Mabel confirmed that her marriage to the comedian and father of her two children was over.
