Amazon Prime Day has arrived with a ton of incredible discounts on a wide variety of products. This includes many Blink smart home devices, making Prime Day the perfect time to buy the brand’s already affordable gear at an even lower price than usual.
Though we don’t think Blink’s ecosystem is as convenient as some competing options, the brand offers solid entry-level home security cameras and smart doorbells for buyers who just want simple home monitoring solutions. In our Blink Indoor Camera review and Blink Mini review we found both devices to be easy to set up while costing less than similar cameras from other brands.
Although they’re known for being budget friendly, Blink items rarely go on sale outside of major deal events. Prime Day has brought the Blink Mini down to only $17.50 at Amazon, and the Blink Video Doorbell is down to $30. Both are extremely rare deals and new all-time low prices. How do Blink cameras work?
Blink cameras, like many other smart home monitoring devices, work by broadcasting a live feed of your home to your phone, TV, or smart display via the Blink app. Depending on what model you opt for, they’re powered by either a cable or wirelessly with batteries.
If you have multiple Blink cameras and devices, you can keep tabs on all of them from one app, making it beneficial to commit to one brand for your whole smart home system.
