A new concept machine plus a look at several high-tech highlights of the Bobcat product line will be on display during CES 2024 in January.
Bobcat will participate as part of the Doosan display, as well as during the Doosan press conference on January 8.
“As a pioneer in the compact equipment industry, we are continually innovating to create solutions for our customers’ toughest challenges,” said Joel Honeyman, Doosan Bobcat vice president of global innovation. “By combining emerging technologies with our proven products, we are developing cutting-edge solutions to meet the demands of a changing world as we transform how we work, build, and live.”
Two years after the introduction of the T7X compact track loader at CES 2022, Bobcat will showcase its S7X skid-steer loader. The S7X is all-electric, thanks to Bobcat eliminating all hydraulics and using electric drive motors and ball screw actuators for lift and tilt functions. Powered by a lithium-ion battery, the S7X has 50 percent fewer components, simpler componentry, and 96 percent less fluid, coolants, and lubricants compared to traditional diesel-hydraulic loaders.
Bobcat will also show the future of its advanced display technology with its transparent, touch display concept that allows operators seamless views of the job site and operation information. Built in to the cab door of the S7X, the display transforms the machine’s main window to enhance operator productivity and efficiency to the task at hand.
The S7X was honoured in the “Sustainability, Eco-Design & Smart Energy” and “Smart Cities” categories of the CES Innovation Awards.
Bobcat will show its concept RogueX2, the second iteration of its autonomous, all-electric concept platform.

Concept machines on display
A concept machine designed to make farming more sustainable, efficient, and smart through the use of AI, autonomy, and electric operation will be brought to the event. The machine and technology will change the way work is done, Bobcat states.
Also at CES will be the RogueX2 concept machine, the second iteration of an all-electric and autonomous machine that runs on a lithium-ion battery and electric drive system. It and the original RogueX were built as proving grounds to advance Bobcat’s innovation roadmap, evaluate customer perceptions, and challenge the paradigms of traditional kinematics and machine functionality.
Built without a cab, this concept machine explores the idea of operating where humans cannot go to tackle more work in more places than ever from an autonomous or remote position.
Bobcat will also show its autonomous zero-turn mower and digital technologies during the event.
