The Cabinet, chaired by King Salman bin Abdulaziz, reviewed the prospects for developing the vital and promising sectors, to achieve Vision 2030 goals and enhance the Kingdom’s leadership globally, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
This included the launch of the National Biotechnology Strategy, which focuses on improving national health, raising the quality of life, protecting the environment, achieving food and water security, maximizing economic opportunities, and localizing promising industries.
The Cabinet affirmed the Kingdom’s focus on developing the housing and real estate sector, as well as boosting its efficiency and increasing the sector’s contribution to GDP.
Further, the Cabinet praised the ambitious visions witnessed by the Real Estate Future Forum, which witnessed the broad gathering from all over the world and the signing of several agreements that reflect a prosperous future for the sector.
The Cabinet also approved the Supreme Space Council law, and authorized the Saudi Minister of Energy, or his representative, to discuss with his Chinese counterpart a draft memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation between the two countries in the oil, gas, and minerals sectors.
In addition, the Saudi Minister of Investment, or his representative, was mandated to discuss with his Serbian counterpart a draft MoU for cooperation between the two countries in the field of encouraging direct investments.
