A video is going viral on Twitter (currently known as X) in which a Domino’s delivery guy can be seen delivering a pizza in a traffic jam!
The video was shared by one Rishivaths, who is said to be working at Flipkart.
According to Rishivaths, he ordered a pizza from Dominos during a traffic jam on an unnamed Bengaluru road. To his surprise, Domino’s delivery agents tracked his live location and delivered the pizza even in the traffic jam.
“When we decided to order from @dominos during the Bangalore choke, They were kind enough to track our live location (a few metres away from our random location added in the traffic) and deliver to us in the traffic jam,” Rishivaths wrote on Twitter.
Commenting on the video, one X user said, “For this exceptional service they surly deserve a huge tip!”
“Just imagine.. if half of the commuters placed order for online food,” quipped another.
“‘Domino’s fulfilling their 30-min delivery promise’…this is awesome…??
On another note, take a moment to consider these delivery personnel. It’s truly challenging for them, navigating through heavy traffic, and still consistently meeting customer expectations,” commented another.
However, another person said that the trend of super fast delivery must be stopped.
“We must stop encouraging this 30 min/ 10 min super fast deliveries of food items and groceries. I do not think anyone in the metro is so malnourished that he/she will die if the food does not arrive in 30 mins. It is only leading traffic violations by the delivery boys,” said one Nagraj Prabhu.
Another person sarcastically noted that in India while ambulance and police do not come in time, Domino’s , Pizzahut, Swiggy, and Zomato delivery guys find a way to reach in time.
“Wow, this is good of Dominos and the worst of traffic management. It’s good and sad at the same time,” noted another.
