The Southern part of Nigeria is set to experience predominantly cloudy mornings with chances of isolated thunderstorms over parts of Enugu, Abia, Imo, Cross River, Rivers, and Akwa Ibom States. The situation is expected to escalate with widespread thunderstorms over most parts of the coastal areas later in the day, affecting regions like Oyo, Edo, Abia, Imo, Enugu, and Ebonyi.
