Neara raises $15.25 million
Neara, a leading climate tech software platform enabling the clean energy transition, has closed a $15.25 million funding round to support further expansion and accelerate the global energy transition in North America and Europe.
With participation by Prosus Ventures, the round was also supported by returning investors at Skip Capital and Square Peg Capital. The funding serves as an extension of the company’s $20 million Series B raise in 2022, bringing its funds raised to date to approximately $45 million.
KPMG Australia commits $16 million to Wiise
Wiise, the small and medium-sized business-focused cloud ERP platform, has received a $16 million investment from KPMG Australia due to its outstanding 2023 growth. Over the last two years, the company tripled its revenue with a consistent 60% YoY growth rate and expanded its team to over 40 members.
This funding will enable Wiise to launch operations in New Zealand as its first international market and support its product-focused growth strategy.
Funding Societies secures $27 million to aid Southeast Asian SMEs
Funding Societies, the leading SME digital finance platform in Southeast Asia, has secured $27 million in debt funding from institutional investors. The funding round was led by Asia-focused private credit financier AlteriQ Global, with participation from multi-family office Aument Capital Partners (ACP) and sustainability-focused fund Orange Bloom.
These funds will be directed through Funding Societies’ customized financing solutions to aid underserved SME segments in the five markets where it operates.
Traffyk.AI Secures $1.8M in Seed Funding Round
Traffyk.AI, an employee communications startup founded by Kate Abrahams, former communications executive at CBA, has secured $1.8 million in a Seed round led by investor Matt Williams.
The enterprise software company aims to enhance workplace communication by analysing data to measure communication costs, ultimately improving effectiveness and productivity.
NSW community groups and councils are encouraged to apply for the Community Building Partnership (CBP) program grants. This program supports projects enhancing social and environmental aspects while promoting community participation.
Eligible organizations and councils can apply for grants from $5,000 to $150,000 per project. Each electoral district can receive a maximum of $300,000 in funding. The application deadline is October 27, 2023, at 5 pm. Apply at nsw.gov.au/cbp.
